Norrath 1999 is an independent fan site for people who lost sleep, and corpses, in classic EverQuest. It is run by Johnston Ventures LLC. Facts are sourced and linked on each page.

My first character was Jnais, a Vah Shir shaman, on the Fennin Ro server.
I was a high schooler back then, and EverQuest was my escape.
I still think about the Planes of Power progression on live, raiding with Caelum Infinitum and The Mystical Order, and the late-night grinding sessions in the elemental planes.
I ended up playing EverQuest for about 20 years. Norrath 1999 is my way of keeping a little of that world lit for anyone else who was there.
