NORRATH1999

Iconic Zones of Classic Norrath

Norrath’s original continents were Antonica, Faydwer and Odus.

Night harbor city with ships and torch-lit market

Qeynos & Freeport

Antonica’s two great human cities sat on opposite coasts: Qeynos in the west and Freeport in the east, linked by a long overland trek through the Karanas and the Commonlands. The tunnel in East Commonlands became an informal player marketplace.

Treetop elven city connected by rope bridges

Kelethin

The Wood Elf city on the continent of Faydwer, built on platforms high in the trees of Greater Faydark. More than one new player stepped off a platform edge and fell to the forest floor.

Flooded green-lit dungeon with frog-like guards

Lower Guk

The deep, flooded half of Guk, the Froglok dungeon reached from Innothule Swamp. Its undead frogloks and named camps made it a famous mid-level hunting ground — and a famous place to lose a corpse.

Nightmarish red plane with floating rocks and dark temple

The Plane of Fear

An early raid zone, home of the god Cazic-Thule. Entry was through a portal in the Feerrott, and raiders often arrived to find monsters camped right on the zone-in.

Other names veterans still remember: Crushbone, Befallen, Unrest, Blackburrow, Najena, Kithicor Forest at night, Lady Vox in Permafrost and Lord Nagafen in Solusek’s Eye.
